Right after our afternoon at the beach last Sunday, Jorge and I took the Hotel Zone bus to a restaurant we’d been wanting to try called Splash. It’s located right on the lagoon (by where Basic nightclub used to be, for all you partiers) and has some pretty decent prices!
We spent $260 pesos total (several tacos each, drinks and tip).
Jorge says we have to return because this place has “The 3 B’s… Bueno, Bonito y Barato“!
Nice post! Nice photos and those lettuce tacos look so fresh and delicious. Stop by and say hi,

Yummy place and I agree with your husband! It has been awhile since we last went there but after seeing your photos I think it is time to go again.
Mmm sounds yummy!
Any place that has a sign advertising fresh lobster dinners for twenty bucks is a place that I NEED to visit 🙂
Ohh it looks so fun!!
Yum!!! I love it when you post photos/ restaurant news. Right up my alley!!
Those lettuce tacos are right up my alley!
I love trying out new restaurants! This one looks like it was a winner. I have to say, it’s always around this time of year, when winter is dragging on, that your blog starts to become my top online destination. I think it has to do the palm trees and the warm weather. :)~ I could seriously swing a hammock between a couple of those trees and not leave until spring!
I’m so jealous, you guys are on a constant vacation. How’s the pound shedding coming? Those lettuce wraps look healthy..ish
We only “vacation” on weekends, but even most of weekends have been rainy lately!
Losing weight slowly but surely… down almost 10 pounds since I started dieting in December. (15 pounds overall this year) The lettuce wraps were healthy, except for the massive amounts of cilantro cream.
Mmmm, yum! Looks delicious.
