Paradise is Where the Heart Is

11 Aug

I live in paradise.

And I love it.

But sometimes…

just sometimes…

I miss home.

Love you and miss you, Richmond, Virginia.

awww…. I can’t imagine how you do it. I get homesick after a weekend away! However that is mostly because I don’t have my bed, my shower, etc.
I’m sure your home misses you too!

Awww… yeah I could imagine you’d get homesick being so far away.

Like Ang said, I’ll be your home misses you too.

I know what you mean…sometimes I get a craving for grits…but I’ve managed to overcome it slightly by eating tamales. (fried in butter).
Y’all come by & visit sometimes.

You know, I miss Richmond too. I miss the river. I miss the history. I love your picture of Richmond. It captures it so well. Charlotte is just not as cool as it thinks it is. There is no river here and they have destroyed most of the history.

That is SO beautiful. When I went to college, a state away. I didn’t really get homesick too bad. I went home every 9 weeks or so though.

I don’t really plan on staying here in the-middle-of-nowhere Kentucky, but I know there are some things I’d miss if/when I move out.

I’m sure people back home miss you as well. I can’t get over those pictures though, absolutely gorgeous!

I’m sorry you’re homesick. 😦 It happens to the best of us. You really are in a beautiful part of the world though!

Richmond isn’t too far from Charlotte. The next time you come back for a visit let me know. I hope you’re feeling better soon!

You can have two homes. And I can understand that you miss one of them sometimes, but you live in MEXICO!! And it’s AMAZING! And that’s what holidays are for….!

Oh, I understand. I know before kids when we went on vacation to paradise (the Carribean), I always missed home by day 5. But living in paradise must have lots of perks!

You’re allowed to miss home. While your lucky to live in paradise, you’re lucky that a piece of your heart is still back home.
