For my birthday this past weekend, we decided to go with some friends to Xel-Ha.
Xel-Ha is a huge ecopark set on in inlet in the Riviera Maya, just south of Playa del Carmen. It has a great All Inclusive plan (all you can eat buffets and all you can drink bars), and it’s perfect for snorkeling, exploring and just relaxing. It has cenotes, lagoons, a mile-long river you can swim through, cliffs, ziplines, a floating bridge, and the list goes on.
One of the highlights was floating down the river, but I didn’t get any pictures because I don’t have a waterproof camera. I saw lots of fish and a barracuda!
Other than that, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
NICE!! 🙂
Wow! That is beautiful! Happy Belated Birthday!
Beautiful place – we went there once while on vacay… I loved it. Happy birthday again, blog style 🙂

absolutely BEAUTIFUL pictures !! so glad to have found your website – so enjoying reading everything !! Cancun is our favorite place in the world……we go every year – thats not enough…..
I love Xel-ha. The hammocks are amazing. The fish are pretty cool too. Except for one thing – both times I’ve been there (15 years apart) I’ve had a close encounter with a barracuda. Very scary and not so cool. Don’t worry, I was very brave. 🙂
And Happy Birthday!!!

If you of any of your friends have any question about the park in further visits please don’t hesitate in contact me to agarcia@experienciasxcaret.com.mx We also invite you to join our facebook and twitter (xelhapark) for more information and news about the park. We will love you can share your experience and photos there!! Best Regards.
Happy Belated Birthday! You totally rocked it. These pics of Xe-la are absolutely breathtaking. It’s almost as if its of the Bahamas or something.
Man, you never fail to get me dreaming of Mexico. That looks like an amazing time! The snorkeling sounds incredible!
Hi, we are going o Cancuun soon and want to visit xel-ha…My husband and I went many years ago and now we are bringing our children. I’ve been doing some research and I’m trying to figure out the best place to buy the tickets. Through my agent is expensive. I can purchase them on-line at the xel-ha website which is a better price. I know we can get them at the hotel and if I remember correctly some they were sold in stores and restaurants around Cancun. Does anyone know the best place wth the best price? Thanks for any info.
